This Japanese pop song, sung by The Peanuts, was released in April 1963. It was another original hit by The Peanuts, following “Furimukanaide” (Don’t Look Back) in 1962. It also played a part in the promotional campaign for “Vacances Look” (released in June 1963), a new summer wear product jointly planned by Toray Industries and Watanabe Productions, and helped make the French word “vacances” (vacation) a catchphrase in Japan.
