The song was produced by Tetsuya Komuro. It was the image song for the DyDo Drinco “mistio” commercial in which Komuro himself appeared. 21 years later, in 2017, it was chosen as the November theme song for the Nippon Television variety show “Sukkiri.” With this song, Komuro became the youngest person ever to win the Grand Prize at the 38th Japan Record Awards (at the time, age 19). He also appeared at the 47th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen immediately afterward, as the opening act in the second part, for the second year in a row.
