ーーー

This is one of Japan’s quintessential children’s songs. Its lyrics are filled with a sense of nostalgia, describing how the sight of a red dragonfly at dusk evokes fond memories of the past. In 2007, it was selected as one of the “100 Best Japanese Songs.” (From the Japanese-language Wikipedia: https://x.gd/fiIva)
